CYCLING – SOCIAL RIDING

A family bike ride is run generally on the morning of the last Saturday of each month. Rides are predominantly on bike or shared paths. The distance covered is between 20 – 35km.

Recent rides have included – 

Oct 18 - Ride from Banksia Park, Heidelberg on the Main Yarra Trail then the Plenty River Trail to Greensborough and return.

Sept 18 - Ride from Westerfolds Park via Eltham and Research to Diamond Creek and return

Jul 18 - A loop ride from the church in Scoresby along Eastlink Trail, Blind Creek and the Railway Trail to Upper Ferntree Gully, returning along the Ferny Creek trail.  

May 18 - A loop from Kew via Rushall & Reservoir to Bundoora Park returning on the Darebin Creek Trail. 

April 18 - Woori Yallock or Launching Place to Warburton

Feb 18 - Braeside Park, Dingley to Carrum via Dingley Bypass and Dandenong Creek returning via Aspendale Gardens.

Jan 18 – A ride from the Church / 1330 along the Dandenong Creek Trail to Dandenong, return ride of 36km.

Dec 17 - From the church down to Jells Park Then across to Blind Creek trail to Boronia, then the Railway Ride to Upper Ferntree Gully returning on the Ferny Creek Trail, distance 30km.

Nov 17 - The Capital City Trail starting from Burnley or from Ashburton along the Ferndale Track for those preferring a longer ride.
